Nur Café Style Gud Ki Sewaiya

Guys this is sooooo easy to make and is priced at a whopping 175 rs for a mini katori at nur
All u traditional dessert lovers should not miss out on this one.

I’ve made a big batch in the video . Below is recipe for small batch.

Firstly heat 100 gm desi ghee and roast 100 gm crushed sevai till golden . Add 500 mL milk , a pinch of saffron , half tsp elaichi powder and 4-5 tbsp nut powder ( roughly grind equal quantity of kaju badam and pista) . Mix well and cover and cook on low heat till the sevai gets well cooked ( keep stirring in between)
Then add 150 gm finely chopped gud and 100 gm of any brown mava mithai like milk cake ( if you have the brown residue after making ghee from malai , then that will be the closest to nur. The milk cake is a easily available alternative)
Add 250 mL milk and mix and cook till gudh melts ( you should have a soft consistency of sevai. If you feel it’s dry add little more milk if needed )
Lastly add 50 mL cream or malai and cover cook on low heat for 2-3 min . Serve hot in a katori with sprinkle of nut powder.
