Yellow Moong Dal Khichdi
This soft yellow khichdi is mostly served in thali , and goes really well with kadi or also on its own with an extra dollop of ghee when ur craving some light khana.
In a pressure cooker wash half cup rice and half cup yellow moong dal, add 2 glass of water , half tsp zeera powder, salt and half tsp haldi. Pressure cook on high heat till first whistle and low heat for 10 mins.
For baghar , in a vessel heat some desi ghee , add 1 slit green chilli , 1 tbsp onion chopped , 4-5 cloves of garlic chopped , few curry leaves and a pinch of hing. Fry till golden and pour on the soft khichdi and mix well , lastly mix some chopped coriander and serve hot.
