Texas Chicken Sliders

This turned out to be a super duper hit at home alhamdolillah . Ive used ladi pav in this recipe , in countries where pav or slider bread is not available u can use burger buns.

For the chicken , marinate 500 gm boneless chicken cut into thin squares ( almost the size of 1 pav ) with 2 tbsp dahi , 4 tbsp red chilli sauce , 2 tsp chilli flakes , 1 tsp red chilli powder , half tsp white pepper powder,1 tbsp garlic paste , 1 tbsp vinager , and salt to taste . Let marinate for half hour .

For flour mix … mix 1 cup maida , 4 tbsp corn flour , 1 tsp garlic powder , 1 tsp oregano , half tsp mix herbs , half tsp parsley , half tsp chilli flakes , half tsp white pepper powder . Mix well and keep aside.

To coat… pick a pc of chicken and nicely coat in the flour mix , press with ur hands to stick the flour well to the chicken . Dip the coated chicken in a bowl of cold water and re coat in the flour the same way by pressing well . Deep fry till golden and crisp.

For the sauce , in a bowl mix a cup of mayonnaise , 1 tsp red chilli powder , 1 tsp vinager , 1 tbsp red chilli sauce , half tsp white pepper powder, 2 tbsp ketchup , 1 tsp garlic powder , 1 tsp red chilli flakes , 1 tsp oregano some chopped coriander and salt to taste . Mix well and keep aside

To assemble cut the ladi pav from the centre , and apply the sauce generously, now grate lots of cheese on top , ( a mix of mozzarella and processed is preferable , u can also use cheese slice ) bake in the oven for 2-3 mins till the cheese melts , now on top of each pav put sliced tomato, iceberg lettuce and then a pc of fried chicken . Put a dollop of sauce on each chicken and cover with the top of the pav , spread butter on top and sprinkle some oregano and chilli flakes , grill in the oven again for 2-3 mins. Serve hot.
