Tandoori Roti
In a big bowl mix 2 cups of maida , 1 tbsp sugar , 1 tbsp yeast and salt to taste … knead to a soft dough using lukewarm water , knead for 5 mins and lastly apply little oil. Cover and keep for 2 hrs or till the dough doubles in size .
Punch the dough back to the normal size and roll slightly thick roti using maida . Apply little water on top and place the watee side on hot tawa . Cook for about 30 seconds and turn your tava so the roti is facing direct flame . Keep moving the tava so the roti is cooked from all sides . Remove and serve hot with your choice of gravy or along with tandoori items or kabab .
Tip . Many people have health issues and cannot eat maida or yeast . You can use your basic wheat flour dough that we make for chapati . And follow the same process of cooking the tandoori roti.❤
