Steamed Momos

Momos from outisde have ajinomotto , i have not used in my recipe , u can add to the filling if u wish.
Makes around 12-15 momos
Knead 1 cup maida aata with little salt and cold water. Knead it for a good 5 mins to a medium stiff dough. Keep aside for 1 hour .

For the veg  filling … in a bowl mix together , 1big onion, 1 small capcicum , 1/4th cup grated carrot , half cup finely chopped cabbage ,2 green chillies chopped, salt , half tsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp sugar . Mix well and keep aside for half hour ( the veggies will release water) squeeze out all the excess water with ur hands and keep aside the veggies.
Take a small ball of dough and roll it into a thin small roti. Put a tsp of stuffing in the center and fold in any momo shape ur comfy in , shape all momos and keep aside.
Heat little water in a vessel and put a sieve on top of it ( make sure the seive fits well on the vessel , the water should not touch the seive and also there should be no space for the steam to release out ) grease the seive with some oil and place the momos a little far apart from each other . Cover and steam for around 20 mins .
Serve hot with , green chutney, momo red chutney and mayonnaise.
Ps.  U can also use the filling from my other two momo recipes for steam momos.
