Spicy Mongolian Chicken

Super delicious as a starter or to have along with some fried rice.
Marinate 500 gm of boneless chicken cut into really thin and long strips , with , salt , 1 tsp white pepper powder , 1 egg , 3 tbsp maida , 1.5 tbsp cornflour. And let marinate for half hour. After half hour check if the marinate is too dry , add a splash of water and then deepfry till light golden, dont fry till its dark or the chciken will get chewy as the strips r really thin .

In a kadhai heat little oil, add 1 star anise broken to pcs , 1 tbsp chopped garlic, 1 tbsp chopped spring onion bulb , 1-2 chopped green chillies , saute for a minute and add 2 tbsp green chilli sauce , 2 tbsp red chilli sauce, 1 tbsp soya sauce , 1 tbsp vinager , 1 tbsp sugar , salt , half tsp white pepper powder , 2 tsp shezwan chutney , saute and add 2 tsp cornflour mixed in 1 small glass of water , cook till it boils and add the fried chicken , half sliced onion and half sliced capsicum. Cook well till the gravy is dry and chicken is well coated. Lastly mix some sliced spring onion green and serve hot.
