Sikandari Grilled Chicken

Spicy and delicious restaurant style grilled chicken  to have in diet along with some salad . Or along with  some butter naan and green  chutney or to accompany  with dal chawal .

Firstly marinate 1 kg of chicken  pieces( make slits)  with salt , 1 tbsp garlic paste,  half tbsp ginger paste and juice of 1 lime and keep aside for half hour.

Meanwhile roast 1 tsp each of , whole dhanya , zeera , saunf , green elaichi and black pepper  with 3 kashmiri red chillies and a pinch of ajwain. Just saute for a few seconds  and grind to  a fine powder .
Add this powder to the marinated chicken along with , half tsp garam masala powder,  1 tsp red chilli powder,  4 tbsp dahi, a pinch of red color  , and some chopped coriander and do coal dhungaar.  Let marinate for two hours or overnight .

Grill on  a pan on mediumlow heat and keep turning  until done. Serve hot.
