Shezwan Tikka Biryani
Dunno if this is available anywhere but I’ve created this biryani recipe and this tastes ddddlecious. Another dawat dish for u.
Marinate 750 gm chicken( i have used whole chicken , u can use boneless if u wish) with 1 tbsp garlic paste , half tbsp ginger paste ,1 tbsp shezwan chutney, 2 tbsp tandoori masala , juice of 2 lime ,1 tsp red chilli powder, red colour and salt. Let marinate for atleast half hour or better to marinate overnight .
Half Cook the chicken in a kadhai without any oil and then slightly roast each pc on fire with a few pcs of coal for charred effect and keep the excess masala aside
For the gravy .. heat little oil in a vessel , add 2 roughly sliced onions and 1 fist kaju 1 fist 4magaz , saute well till light golden , add 3-4 roughly chopped tomatoes and saute for 2 mins. Switch off heat , let cool and grind to a fine paste.
In the same vessel heat oil and butter and add whole garam masala , then 1 tbsp garlic paste , half tbsp ginger paste , 1 tbsp shezwan chutney, saute well and add the prepared paste , 1 tsp red chilli powder , 1.5 tsp dhanya powder , half tsp zeera powder , 1 tsp garam masala powder , half tsp haldi powder , 1 tbsp tikka or tandoori masala , half cup dahi , 2 tbsp tomato ketchup , 2 tbsp red chilli sauce, 1 tsp kasoori methi , red colour, little chopped coriander , the remaining chicken masala and the chicken pics and salt , saute well and cook till chicken is tender , do koyla dhungaar .
Boil 2 cups of soaked basmati rice with whole garam masala and keep aside.
Layer the vessel first with some boiled rice , followed by the entire masala , lots of chopped coriander and fried potato wedges . Cover with remaining rice and drizzle some yellow n orange colour mixed with water . Sprinkle some chopped coriander and drizzle some desi ghee . Keep the vessel on a tava, keep dum on high heat for 10 mins and low heat on for 20-30 mins . Serve hot with some dahi kachumber , enjoy and gimme loads of dua.
