Shadiyon wali afghani chicken gravy

I’ve made a huge batch in the video
Below is recipe for 1 kg chicken

Firstly blend together- 2 roughly cut onions , a handful of coriander leaves , little mint leaves , 10-12 green chillis , and a generous handful of kaju . Blend this to a fine paste with milk .

In a big bowl put the prepared paste , 2 tbsp garlic paste , 1 tbsp ginger paste , salt , 1 tsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp chaat masala , 1 tbsp Kasoori methi , 250 gm dahi and half cup cream or malai . Mix well and marinate 1 kg chicken in it . Do coal dhungaar and keep aside for 2 hours .

then in a Kadhai or vessel heat some oil and on high heat fry few pcs of chicken at a time just to give slight color . Prepare all the chicken this way and keep aside .

Now in the same oil put whole garam masala and the remaining marinade. Cook well and then add the chicken and cook well till the chicken is done and you have got your desired consistency.

Make Baghaar by heating little oil and ghee . Once hot , switch off heat and put 1 tbsp kasoori methi and little chopped coriander . Immediately pour this on the gravy and cook for a min and switch off heat .

Serve hot with sponge naan / tandoori roti / butter naan / paratha or zeera rice . Enjoy.
