Seeng Jhinge Ka Salan / Prawns Curry

Very easy recipe that turns out so delicious to be finger licking good .
Firstly grind 1/4th coconut cut into very small peices ( or 3 tbsp coconut milk powder if fresh coconut is not available) along with , 2 green chillies , 8-10 cloves of garlic , some chopped coriander and 2 tomatoes into a fine paste .

In a vessel heat oil , add lots of curry leaves and pour the paste and cook for 2 mins . Add 2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp Dhanya powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder, half tsp zeera powder , half tsp haldi powder and salt . Sauté well and cover and cook till oil comes up . Then add half kg of prawns and 4 potatoes cut into big chunks . Cook for two mins and add 3-4 seeng phalli cleaned and cut into 4 inch pcs . Cover and cook till done . Add enough water to adjust consistency and cook for 2 mins , lastly add 2-3 pcs of kokam and some chopped coriander . Cook for a min and serve hot with toor dal khichdi.
