Restaurant Style Chicken 65
I had chicken 65 at a relatives place in Hyderabad recently ( it was from a closeby restaurant from their place called akbar fast food) helped me create the perfect recipe u all should surely try.
And this turns out almosttt the same mashallah. You can serve it with paratha ( to make the paratha that was served along with the 65 , you just need to knead maida with some salt , milk, water , baking soda and oil , and make thick rotis and fry on tava with some oil till cooked , dont make it very golden , thats how it was served there ) you can also simply have it as a starter . Also tastes yumm along with some basic dal tadka and rice .
Marinate 500 gms of chicken ( boneless leg is perferable) with salt , 2 tbsp dahi, 2 tsp red chilli powder , half tsp haldi , 1 tsp garam masala powder, half tsp zeera powder , half tsp dhanya powder , juice of half lime, 1 tsp ginger paste , 2 tsp garlic paste ,half tsp black pepper powder, 1 egg, pinch of red colour , 3 tbsp maida and 2 tbsp corn flour . Let marinate for atleast half hour .
Deep fry till golden and keep aside.
In a kadhai heat little oil, add 4-5 slit green chillies , few curry leaves , 1 tbsp chopped garlic and saute for a few seconds , add 2 tbsp red chilli sauce , 2 tbsp green chilli sauce, half tsp red chilli powder and 2 tbsp ketchup and 3 tbsp water( i did not find the use of dahi in the outer sauce so i skipped it , if u want u can add) add v little salt and the fried chicken, toss well till each piece is well coated and dry. Sprinkle some chopped coriander and serve hot.
