Red Velvet Cutlets

Surely a must try in Ramadan and definitely a Dawat starter.

Mix 500 gm boneless chicken cubes or mutton/beef keema with salt , 1 tsp each ginger garlic green chilli paste ,1 tbsp Koota dhanya, 1 tsp red chilli flakes , 1 tsp garam masala powder , 1 tsp black pepper powder , half tsp zeera powder ,1 pav or two slices of bread broken ( take 2 pav or 4 slices if using mutton / beef keema) , 1 small beet root diced and some chopped coriander . Mix well and grind to a fine mince in small batches . Let marinate for an hour .

Take a ball of mince and flatten it on breadcrumbs to a thin cutlet . Coat with crumbs and dip on beaten egg and deep fry on medium low heat till golden .

Enjoy with a squeeze of lime on the cutlet and have with chutney or ketchup.
