Raan Rice

This recipe is for 1.5 to 2 kg raan . You can increase  the quantity of everything  according  to the weight of your raan.
Make deep slits on the raan and marinate  with 2 cups dahi, 2 tbsp garlic paste  , 2 tbsp ginger paste  ,2 tbsp green chilli paste , 3 tbsp tandoori masala  , 3 tbsp any biryani masala ( Bombay biryani is preferred) , 1 tsp chaat masala  , 1 tsp black  pepper powder  , salt , juice of 3 limes , 4 tbsp raw papaya paste or 1 tsp tenderizer   , 2 tsp dhanya powder  , 1 tsp zeera powder  , 2 tsp garam masala  powder  , 2 tsp red chilli  powder  , 1 tsp haldi powder , a pinch of red colour  , and salt . Let marinate overnight .
Pressure  cook it along with the masla till done . Remove the raan from the vessel and do koyla dhunaar .
In the left over masala,  check how much water is remaining  , accordingly add water of needed and add 3 cups of basmati rice and salt . Cook till done and keep on dum for 10 mins .
Spread  the rice in a thaal , put the raan in the center  and serve with salad and boiled eggs and also potato wedges  or fries if you like.
