Pistachio Tres Leches / Pista Milk Cake

Must try recipe for all u dessert lovers , easy and delicious. Also I’ve got a good hang of it so it’s always a dawat dessert for me that everyone loves and asks for recipe after eating.

For the cake …. beat 4 egg whites with half cup castor sugar ( add few spoons at a time and keep beating) beat till stiff peaks , with a spatula fold in  4 egg yolks , 6 tbsp milk , 6 tbsp oil , little green food color , 2 drop pista essence , , 1 tsp vanilla essence and half cup seived maida .

Grease a 9 inch rectangular baking tray with butter and sprinkle maida… pour the batter and bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 min or till cooked ( poke in the centre to check ) . Let cool completely and poke well witha fork

Mix half litre  milk  , half cup cream , little green food color , 2 drops pista essence, 2 tbsp pista powder and 100 gm condensed milk and pour it on the cake . Keep aside for 15 mins ( all the milk will get absorbed)
Decorate with whipped cream and pistachio powder . Chill for 2 hrs . Serve chilled.
