Peri Peri Chicken With Spicy Rice (Nandos Inspired)

So guys this recipe is super easy , such few ingredients and ur gonna love it . Obviously this is the nazia farhan easy peasy version and not the authentic one using red capsicum and fresh red chilli etc.
Grind together 1/4th cup olive oil , 2 Kashmiri red chilli , 2 green chillies , 2 tsp red chilli powder , juice and zest from 1 lime , 8-10 cloves of garlic , salt , 1 tsp oregano , 1 tsp vinager . Blend everything well to a paste and marinate 1 kg chicken  pcs with it . Let marinate  for a few hrs or overnight. Remove all excess marinade from the chicken  and And simply grill the  in the oven , or on on a grill pan.

In a vessel  heat some oil  , add 1 chopped  onions and saute for a few seconds,  add  1 diced capsicum  , the leftover  marinade,  half tsp haldi , salt and 4 cups of water .bring to a boil and add 2 cups of washed and soaked basmati  rice.  Cover and cook on high heat till water dries and low heat on dum for 5-7 mins .
Serve hot with the grilled chicken  and some salad and fries on the side .
Ps. The original  nandos rice is yellow in colour , mine is a spicier version,  if u want the exact Same then just put 2 tbsp of the marinade and 1 tsp haldi.
