Paaya Masala (Gehu Wale Paaye)

Heat some oil in a pressure cooker and add 1 tsp whole zeera and 3-4 onions sliced . Fry till onions are soft and add 1.5 tbsp ginger paste, 1.5 tbsp garlic  paste ,1 tsp green chilli paste, 1 tsp red chilli powder , half tsp haldi, 1 tsp dhanya powder ,half tsp zeera powder , 2 tsp garam masala powder , and 3-4 tbsp paya masala (you can use any brand , I use malegaon paya masala) add 6 paya and some coriander and mint chopped  and saute for 5 mins . Add about a litre of water and mix. In a small vessel put about 100 gms of wheat ground roughly (just take whole wheat and grind it roughly … u should not have big pcs also and u should not powder it completely )Add 1 glass of water to this and put the vessel on top of the paaya and close the pressure cooker. Cook till done then pour the cooked wheat into the paya gravy. Add lots of chopped mint and coriander and juice of 1 lime. Serve hot with naan or lambe pav.
