Mutton / Chicken Tava Roll
For the mutton/ chicken ….. In a pressure cooker heat oil and add 1 tsp whole zeera. Let it crackle then add 1 chopped onion and fry till almost golden , add 2 chopped tomatoes and 2 tsp ginger paste , 2 tsp garlic paste , 1 tsp green chilli paste and salt to taste. Saute till tomatoes are soft then add 2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder, half tsp haldi powder, half tsp zeera powder , 1 tsp dhanya powder , 1 tbsp kasoori methi , 2 tbsp dahi , some chopped coriander and mint. Saute and add 500 gms of mutton/ chicken cubes. Cook till tender and dry. Add juice of 1 lime and lots of chopped coriander and mint. Let cool.
To make dough , knead maida with salt and a mix of milk and water , lastly apply little oil
Roll a really thin roti with the maida dough using flour or oil whichever is convenient for u . Place 1 omelette in the centre then put the meat in a line and first fold from the sides then roll from the front to a tight roll .( Plz check for any video on YouTube if u have not understood the folding method)
Grill in a tava with little oil . Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.
Ps. If u want crisp version of the same u can use spring roll sheets or simply follow the recipe of dough using water instead . And deep fry the roll.
