Murgh Lajawab Gravy

Another restaurant  style rich gravy for u which is my own innovation for your family and guests to enjoy along with some butter garlic naan .

Firstly  marinate 500 gms chicken ( you can take  boneless breast or leg or whole chicken  , i have  used whole chicken and then roughly  shredded into chunks ) marinate it with , salt , 1 tbsp garlic paste  , 1 tsp ginger paste , half tsp black pepper powder,  1 tsp red chilli powder,  1 tsp garam masala powder,  1 tsp chaat masala powder , 250 gms dahi, juice of 1 lime , a pinch of red colour and 1 tsp kasoori methi .
Let marinate for 2 hours and remove all excess masala and cook the chicken in  a vessel till done . Then  char the chicken on direct flame with  some coals for a few seconds.

For the gravy fry 2 onions till golden and keep aside,  fry 2 tbsp each of kaju , 4 magaz , peanuts,  and chana daliya till light golden and keep aside.  Grind the fried nuts and onions and 2 green chillies with milk to a fine paste .

In a kadhai heat some oil and add half tsp whole zeera , 1 tbsp garlic paste,  half tbsp ginger paste and saute well till golden . Add the nut and onion paste, salt  and saute more . Add the leftover  masala from the marinated chicken, paste of 3 tomatoes ,half tsp haldi, 1 tsp dhanya powder,  half tsp zeera powder , 1 tsp red chilli powder and some chopped coriander,  saute well and add the grilled chicken.  Cook for 5 mins and add little water if needed .
Lastly in another pan heat some oil and butter , once hot add 1 tsp kasoori methi and switch off heat , add 1 tsp red chilli powder and mix and then pour on top of the gravy . And serve hot with naan or paratha.
