Mini Batata Wada
In a kadhai heat 2 tbsp oil add a pinch of rai , few sliced curry leaves , pinch of hing half tsp grated ginger, 4 green chillies chopped , half tsp haldi , half tsp sugar , salt , saute and switch off heat , mix in 500 gm of boiled mashed potatoes, juice of half lime and lots of chopped coriander. Make small balls and keep aside ( you can freeze the vadas in a tray till solid and then fill in a container)
For batter mix 6 tbsp chana aata , salt , a pinch of baking soda , little chopped coriander , and enough batter to make paste thick enough to coat the Vada .
Dip each wada in batter and deep fry till golden . Serve with ketchup or green chutney or ghati masala (I have posted recipe of ghati masala previously)
