Meethi Dahi Phulkiya
I call this dahi wade ki choti behen ๐
This is a super quick recipe and will surely impress your guests and family .
Firstly you have to take 250 gm urad aata ( this is easily available at Kirana stores , you can also use chana aata ) , add salt to taste and mix . Ad enough water and keep mixing with a whisk or with hands to make a smooth thick paste . Then add 2 pinch baking soda and a sachet of eno . Mix well and fry really small balls on medium heat till golden brown.
Meanwhile in a big bowl mix 2-3 litres of water , 2 tsp salt , 4 tbsp sugar , 4 tbsp dahi and blend with a hand blender .
Now put the hot fried balls to this water and let rest for 10-15 mins or till the color becomes v light ( this shows that the balls have absorbed the water well ) . Squeeze out water from the balls and keep aside . Keep frying more balls and soak them in this water .
For dahi mix 1 kg dahi , 8-10 tbsp powdered sugar ( you can add more or less as per your liking ) half tsp salt and whisk well .
Take a tray and first put a layer of dahi then your phulkiya, dahi again and keep repeating till your tray is full . Lastly sprinkle some chaat masala , zeera powder, red chilli powder and drizzle some sweet chutney and serve chilled .
These r literally going to finish in minutes.
