Medu Wadi
This is a no hassle hack to the medu wada , no jhanjhat of making the donut shapes . These bite size wadis are a super delicious evening snack , or u can also have it for breakfast .
Wash and Soak 1 cup of urad dal overnight . Next day throw the water and grind to a fine paste in small batches with very little water ( make sure its not grainy, add a little more water if its difficult to grind)
To this paste add 2 pinch baking soda , 1 onion finely chopped , 1 tsp grated ginger , 2-3 green chillies chopped , half tsp zeera powder ,salt and some chopped coriander.
Deep Fry small balls on medium heat till golden.
You can serve it along with some ketchup or coconut chutney ( recipe posted previously)
