Malai Tikka Shawarma

Guys this is a recipe that is going to get u uncountable  complements  from your family . So do try if your a shawarma  lover.

For the chicken marinate …. marinate 750 gm of boneless chicken  with 3 tbsp hung curd , half tsp butter , 1 tsp white pepper powder , 1 tsp oregano , 1.5 tbsp garlic paste ,1 tsp ginger paste, half tsp green chilli paste , 4 tbsp cream or malai and salt . Let marinate for 1 hr and grill it either in a pan till done , or simply  cook it in  a vessel . If you have time in hand i would reccomended  you to char the cooked chicken  pcs on direct flame to give the charred tikka effect.

For the sauce .In a pan heat 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp chopped garlic , 2 pinch of oregano.. saute very little the garlic should not change colour . Switch off heat and mix 2 cubes of  cheese grated , 2 tbsp hung curd , about 100 ml of fresh cream , 10 tbsp mayonaisse ,salt and 2 pinch white pepper powder and little chopped coriander. Mix well and keep aside

For pickle boil green chillies and carrot,  cucumber  and beetroot  fingers in a mix of water and vinegar  with a little salt ( boil one by one or if u have less time boil the beetroot separately)

For assembling  slightly  cook a pita bread on direct flame , put some sliced  cabbage  , chicken  pieces , some pickled  veg, few pcs of french fries,  and a generous amount  of sauce . Wrap in butter paper and serve immediately with some chip, extra pickle  and sauce.
