Lazeez Pulao

As usual I had no time to present , but this is a must try recipe for u rice lovers .
In a pressure  cooker heat some oil and ghee , add 2 sliced onions and fry till golden . Add half cup water and cover the vessel( this gives your pulao a lovely colour and taste , I learnt this tip from kun foods on YouTube, I take a lot of tips and inspiration from the channel u guys should definitely follow him).  Let the fried onion saute for 2 mins then add 750 gms of mutton or chicken and saute well till colour changes , add 1 tsp red  chilli  powder  , salt , 2 tbsp any biryani masala , 2 tbsp garlic  paste  , 1 tbsp ginger paste  , 1 tbsp green chilli paste and saute well . Add paste of 3 medium tomatoes and saute more . Add a cup of dahi and saute . Pressure  cook till done if making mutton , half cook if making chicken . Add potatoes  and cook for two mins add 4 cups of water , salt and bring to a  boil  . Add 2 cups of soaked basmati rice( basmati is preferable you can use kolam or any rice)  and cover and cook till the water is dry.  In a bowl mix little water and orange food colour  . Drizzle this on the rice , sprinkle  lots of chopped  coriander  and keep on dum for 10 mins . Give a stir with light hands and serve hot with dahi kachumber.
