Lassan Wali Khichdi
Winters have arrived and so has hara lassan.
You can use it in all recipes in form of baghar .
One of my fave comfort food in the winter is lassan wali khichdi . Easy , quick , healthy n delicious.
To make khichdi in a pressure cooker wash 1 cup rice and half cup green moong dal. Add 4 cups of water and salt to taste. Cover n cook on high heat till first whistle and low heat for 10 mins.. this is a really soft khichdi.
Now make baghar with little oil and lots of Desi ghee , heat and add 1 onion chopped , 2 green chillies chopped (or more if u wish) and a nice fistfull of chopped hara lassan . Fry well and keep stirring till slight golden .
On top of your khichdi put lots of chopped coriander and pour the hot baghar on top . Mix well and serve piping hot as it is or along with some achaar papad or dahi 😋
