Lachcha Paratha

This is a really tasty paratha you can have with any gravy . Or just fry till crisp for breakfast to have along with tea or malaišŸ˜‹
I have made the paratha with wheat flour just to keep it healthy but it really taste much much tastier with maida .

For the dough . .. In  a bowl mix 1 tea cup of milk , half tea cup oil , 1 tbsp sugar , salt , 1 pinch baking soda. Mix well and add it to  2 cups of flour( you can use only wheat or only maida or 1 cup of each) and knead with water and little oil in the end . Cover and keep for half hour.

For the magic paste. … In a bowl mix 1 cup oil and 4 tbsp corn flour to a paste .

To make the paratha . Roll into a thin roti with help of flour then spread 1 tsp magic paste on top , sprinkle maida flour nicely andĀ  make cuts with knife or pizza cutter ( it is easier and fast with pizza cutter) . Collect all strips together and twist into a flatĀ  ball .
Roll again with light hands to a medium thick paratha and roast on tava with some oil or ghee or butter .
Remove from tava and inĀ  a plate collect a pile of 6-7 parathas . And press little from the sides to crush the paratha a little so all layers get separated.
Serve hot.
