Kung Pao Chicken

Again a very much requested recipe . All Chinese lovers should try it out .

Marinate 500 gm boneless chicken cubes with salt , half tsp black pepper powder , half tsp each ginger and garlic paste , 1 tbsp soya sauce , 1 tsp vinegar , 1 egg , 3 tbsp corn flour and 2 tbsp maida . Mix well , let marinate for half hour and fry till golden . Keep aside .

In a bowl mix 5 tbsp soya sauce , 3 tbsp red chilli sauce , 2 tbsp oyster sauce , half tsp white pepper powder , 1 tsp corn flour and little water .

In a kadhai heat some oil and fry a handful of kaju till golden and remove . I’m the same oil put 3-4 broken red chilli , sauté and put 1 tbsp chopped garlic , 1 tsp chopped ginger , 2 chopped green chilli and 2 tbsp chopped onion ( I have simply chopperised all together) sauté till fragrant, put 1 stock cube and sauté . Put 1 cup sliced spring onion ( long pcs ) 1 small bell pepper each , diced , sauté and put the fried chicken . Add the sauce mix and little water and cook till well coated . Lastly add a handful of roasted peanuts . Remove in serving plate and garnish with fried kaju . Serve hot as a starter or along with choice of Chinese fried rice.
