Kheemey Ka Salan

Sometimes after eating alot of fancy food . We really crave for something desi. So let’s learn how to make kheemey ka salan which can be served with pav , sponge naan Or toordal/masoor dal khichdi.

In a vessel put oil , 8-10 curry leaves , whole garam masala , and 2 onions chopped. Add salt and cook well till onions start to turn golden. Add 4 tomatoes finely chopped , 1 capcicum finely chopped ( I have a processor so I just chopperise the tomato n capcicum together) add 1.5tbsp  ginger paste , 1.5 tbsp garlic paste , 1 tsp haldi , 2 tsp dhanya powder, 1 tsp zeera powder , 2 tsp garam masala powder , 2 tsp red chilli powder and some chopped coriander . Cover and cook well . Now add 250 gm of keema and cook well . Add potatoes and cover and cook well till done . Lastly add juice of 1 lime and lots of coriander and few whole green chillies. Serve hot.
