Jalapeño Poppers

Heat 4 tbsp heaped butter and 2 tbsp oil in a Kadhai. Once melted , add 8 tbsp Maida and roast till fragrant. Add a cup of milk and cook on low heat till a dough like ball is formed.

Let this cool and mix in 150 gms cheese, 1/4th cup pickled jalapeños, 6-7 green chilli chopped , half small capsicum chopped , some chopped coriander, 1 tbsp red chilli flakes , 1 tbsp oregano and salt to taste . Mix well and make balls and keep aside . Dip each ball in Maida slurry and coat with fresh bread crumbs. Deep fry few pcs at a time on high heat. Serve hot.
