Instant Dhaba Style Khichdi

This serves 6-7.
Take half cup of basmati rice and in the remaining half cup put equal quantities of toor, masoor and yellow moong dal . Wash the dals and rice and if yo u have Time then let it soak for half hour , or you can start cooking immediately.

On the dal rice , add 5 cups of water , Paste of 3 large tomato, some chopped coriander, half tsp haldi and salt . Mix well and pressure cook on high heat till first whistle and on low heat for 10 mins.

Meanwhile prepare the baghaar. In a vessel take 1 small chopped onion, 3-4 chopped green chilli, 1 tbsp Kasoori methi , 1/4th tsp hing, 2 whole red chilli broken ,10-12 curry leaves , 8-10 cloves of garlic chopped , 2 tbsp desi ghee and desired amount of oil

Once your khichdi is cooked , start cooking the Baghaar till the ingredients turn light golden . Switch off heat and mix in 1 tsp of red chilli powder.

On the khichdi put Lots of chopped coriander and pour the baghar on it . Mix well and cook for a few mins and serve hot.
