Honey Chilli Chicken Tenders
A really quick and delicious starter that you can make with the sauce or simply make crispy chicken tenders without the sauce .
Here I’m using chicken strips by @novafreshchicken You can purchase halal chicken from them which is well cleaned and hygienically packed .
Marinate 1kg chicken strips or tenders ( tenders are the soft part behind the chicken breast) marinate with salt , 2 tbsp red chilli sauce , 2 tbsp green chilli sauce ,1 tbsp vinegar ,1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp red chilli flakes ,1 tsp white pepper powder, 1 tsp garlic powder and 1 egg . Mix well and let marinate for an hour and then press and coat with panko . Deep fry on medium heat till golden and crisp .
You can serve as it is with your choice of sauce .
To make honey chilli sauce in a pan heat 50 gm butter and put half cup red chilli sauce , 1 tbsp vinegar , 1 tsp garlic powder , 1.5 tsp red chilli powder and 2 tbsp honey . And salt to taste . Cook for a minute and add water to adjust consistency to make a thin sauce . Dip the fried chicken in sauce just before serving .
