Hariyali Chicken / Green Foil Chicken

Take 500 grams of chicken , wash well and make deep slits , marinate it with juice of 1 lime, 200 gms dahi , 1 tbsp garlic paste , half tbsp ginger paste , half tbsp green chilli paste , 1 tsp white pepper powder , 2 tbsp green chilli sauce , salt , and a little green colour . Let marinate for half hour or overnight .

Remove excess marinade from the chicken and keep aside. Cook the chicken on sigdee or simply cover and cook it in a kadhai till done ( if ur cooking in a kadhai , once the chicken is tender , slightly roast it on direct flame with a few pcs of coal for charcoal effect)

For the sauce/gravy … grind together , 2 green chillies , half cup of coriander leaves , 1 fist of mint leaves , 1 small capsicum , a fist of kaju, and half cup milk to a fine paste.
Heat some butter in a kadhai , add 1 tsp chopped garlic and saute , add the prepared paste and the leftover marinade from the chicken and cook well . Add salt, pinch of haldi , half tsp garammasala powder , and 4tbsp cream . Cook well and switch off heat.
I have presented in a plate by putting a few pcs of chicken followed by some gravy and garnish with some grated cheese.
To make the foil version , keep the gravy little thin . And mix the cooked chicken in it. Fill each pc in foil with little gravy and wrap it well . steam or bake in oven for 5 mins just before serving.
