Goan Fish / Prawn Curry

Marinate 1 kg of your choice of fish with salt and 1 tsp haldi and keep aside.
Blend together half coconut , 5 Kashmiri red chillies , 1inch ginger , a fist of garlic cloves , 1 tsp haldi , 2 tbsp whole dhanya , few curry leaves and 1 small onion sliced .blend in small batches to a very fine paste.
In a kadhai put oil , few curry leaves and 1 onion chopped , fry till soft and add 2 tomatoes chopped , add salt , 4 slit green chillies and 1 tsp of red chilli powder. Saute till soft and mashed , then add the prepared paste , 4-5 pc kokam and 2 tbsp tamarind pulp . Add a glass of water and cover and cook for 5 min . Then add the marinated fish and cover and  cook till done . Serve hot with rice or neer dosa.
Ps this gravy doesn’t have much oil and is it’s consistency is supposed to be thin.
