Fish Tikka Masala
If ur a seafood lover and u love restaurant style food , do not miss out on this . In this recipe u can skip kaju and malai if u wish , it will taste gr8 that way as well , as some people don’t prefer rich gravies it will still give u a restaurant style taste in sha Allah.
Firstly mix together salt ,juice of 1 lime , 1 tsp red chilli powder, 2 tsp garlic paste , half tsp ginger paste ,1 tsp garam masala powder , 1 tsp Dhanya powder , half tsp zeera powder, 1 tbsp tandoori masala , half tsp black pepper powder, a pinch of red color , a pinch of Ajwain and 2 pinches of saunf and some chopped coriander. Mix well and apply to 500 gms of your choice of fish do koyla dhungaar and Let marinate for atleast 1 hour and mix in 1 tbsp Maida and 1 tbsp corn flour and 1 tbsp chana aata . And fry till golden ( you can apply Flour and fry just before serving) and sprinkle some chaat masala on top of the fried fish
In a Kadhai heat v little oil and fry 1 roughly sliced onion and 2 tomato till soft . Blend this along with 5-6 kaju , some chopped coriander , 4tbsp dahi and 2 tbsp cream of malai .
Heat the same Kadhai again and heat some oil , and add this paste and 2 tsp garlic paste , half tsp ginger paste, salt , 1 tsp red chilli powder , half tsp garam masala powder, half tsp zeera powder, half tsp Dhanya powder, 2 tsp tandoori masala, 1 tbsp Kasoori methi and a pinch of red color . Cook well by adding water and sautéing really well . Lastly do koyla dhungaar . And mix in some fresh chopped coriander
Serve the crisp fried fish along with this gravy ( that’s how I like it , if u wish u can skip the flours in the fish marinate and add the fried fish to the cooked gravy and cook for 2-3 mins)
Serve hot along with your choice of roti , naan or paratha and let the complements pour in
