Fish Mai Pulao

A favourite dish of all fish lovers , specially memons.

Firstly marinate 1 kg fish of your choice with , salt , juice of 1 lime , 1 tbsp garlic paste, 1 tbsp green chilli paste , 1 tbsp koota Dhanya, 1 tsp saunf powder , 1 tsp zeera powder, 1 tsp red chilli flakes , half tsp haldi , half tsp black pepper powder, and some chopped coriander . Let marinate for an hour atleast and fry as many pcs needed on time .

Blend together half fresh coconut chopped , 1 tsp saunf , a handful of coriander leaves , few curry leaves , 15-20 green chilli and 6 medium tomatoes to a fine paste .

In a Kadhai heat some oil , add half tsp rai , half tsp zeera , few curry leaves. Let crackle and add 1 tbsp garlic paste and sauté . Add half the prepared paste , Half tsp haldi , half tsp red chilli powder, salt and sauté . Add enough water as you need and cook for 5-7 mins . Your gravy is ready .

For rice
Heat oil in a vessel , add whole garam masala and curry leaves. Let crackle then add 1 onion sliced and fry till golden , add the remaining half paste , half tsp haldi , half tsp red chilli powder , salt and sauté well . Then add potatoes ( as much as u need ) and sauté little . Add 5 cups water and bring to a boil. Add 750 gms of washed and soaked rice. Cover and cook till water has dried . Then top with lots of chopped coriander , 3-4 slit green chilli and a handful of fried onion . Keep on din for 10-15 mins and then give stir with light hands.

To serve take some rice in a plate and put gravy on top and then fried fish. Have along with nimbu kachumber or imli kachumber.
