Ferrero Delight
I love creating something on my birthday and I’m so happy to make this chocolate goodness . I’ve made a huge batch . Giving below a recipe enough for a single tray 9×12 .
I have used my basic sponge recipe ( posted on my website) you can take ready sponge or bake one . Cut it into really thin slices .
For nutella mousse . In a pan cook together 200 gm chopped milk chocolate and half cup whipping cream (I’ve used tropolite) cook on medium heat and keep stirring with a spatula till melted . switch off heat and mix in 250 gm nutella . Beat this nutella chocolate with 1.5 cup whipping cream till slightly stiff peaks . Then beat in half cup milk . Mix well and keep aside.
For chocolate ganache. In a pan cook 200 gm dark chocolate with 100 gm Amul/Delecta cream . Keep stirring with a spatula till melted . Switch off heat and keep aside .
Now in a tray spread a layer of sliced sponge cake. Drizzle water all over ( this makes it super moist) then spread the Nutella mouse on it . Sprinkle crushed Ferrero rochers ( if u want to make it low on budget then skip Ferrero n call this Nutella delight ) . Put sponge cake on top of this and drizzle water all over . Spread chocolate ganache on top and decorate as u like . Garnish with drizzled nutella and Ferrero rochers .
Put cling film on the tray and let it chill in the fridge over night ( this is v imp . Don’t make it same day u want to eat )
Next day remove from the fridge half hour to 45 min before serving. Cut into squares of desired size and serve .
