Dhaba Style Chicken Double Ekka
I’ve got soooooo many requests to recreate this recipe that i had to visit a dhaba and order to knw the exact taste to recreate the recipe 🙈 ( ps. Dhabas have a prominent taste of ajinomotto , i have skipped it in my recipe coz of its side effects , you can use if u wish)
Marinate 500 gms of boneless chicken cubes , with 1 tsp garlic paste , 2 tbsp corn flour , 2 tbsp maida , half tsp white pepper powder , 1 tsp red chilli powder , 1 tsp vinager , 2 tsp red chilli sauce , salt and one egg . Let marinate for 1 hour and deep fry till golden.
In a wok heat some oil  add 2 tbsp chopped garlic, 1 tsp chopped ginger , 2 chopped green chillies , 1 tbsp chopped onion and saute for a few seconds . Add 3 tbsp shezwan chutney , 3 tbsp tomato ketchup, 1 tbsp soya sauce , salt , 1 tsp red chilli powder half tsp white pepper powder , pinch of red colour, saute well and add the fried chicken , mix well and add slurry of 1 tsp cornflour mixed with 4 tbsp water . Cook well till the chicken is nicely coated . Add 2 tbsp cream or malai and some chopped spring onion. Saute for 2 mins , sprinkle some chopped coriander and serve hot.
