Dal Gharwali
Guys this is a really really delicious and rich tasting dal , to have along with some tandoori/ grilled starter and roti , or even with some zeera rice š
Take a fist ( muththi) each of toor dal , masoor dal , akhkha masoor , chana dal , yellow moong dal , urad dal , green moong dal . Wash , let soak for half hour and then , boil the dal along with half tsp haldi , half tsp zeera powder , 2 chopped tomatoes and boil /pressure cook till dal is completely soft , slightly mash with the spoon , and add 2 tsp red chilli powder, 1.5tsp dhanya powder, half tsp garam masala powder, salt , little chopped palak ( u can skip palak and add kothmir if u wish) 2 tbsp cream/ malai , cook well and prepare baghar.
Take ghee and oil mix , 10+12 cloves garlic sliced , 2 green chillies chopped , few curry leaves , 1 small chopped onion , half tsp heeng , fry well till garlicand onion turn golden, pour on the dal and cook for 5 more min, add water if needed , ( this is a thick verson of dal , like dal makhni kind) lastly add some more chopped coriander and serve hot.
