Creamy Chicken Handi

This is one of the easiest and tastiest recipes you can make for dawat or when sudden guests arrive.

Firstly marinate 500 gm chicken strips ( you can take with bone also if u want ) with salt, 1 cup dahi, 1 cup cream or malai, 1 tbsp garlic paste, 1 tsp ginger paste, juice of 1 lime, 1 tsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp red chilli flakes, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder, half tsp haldi, 1 tsp Dhanya powder, half tsp zeera powder and 1 tbsp Kasoori methi. Mix well and do coal dhungaar. Let marinate for half hour.

In a Kadhai heat oil and put whole garam masala and few curry leaves , then add Chopperised mix of 1 big onion , 8-10 green chilli and a handful of coriander leaves . Sauté till soft then add paste of 1 big tomato and little water . Sauté well and add the marinated chicken and cover and cook till done . Make baghar of oil , little ghee , few slit green chilli and 1 tsp zeera . Pot the baghar on the gravy and serve hot with your choice of roti , naan or paratha.
