Chocolate Mousse Cake

I’m not a professional baker nor have I learnt it . I love making cakes and they surely taste delicious even if they don’t look that perfect .

So here’s the recipe for all of you who are like me and want to bake special things for special occasions without any professional training.

For sponge you can follow basic sponge cake recipe from my website.( make half portion)

Beat 2 cups of whip cream till stiff peaks and then beat in 400 gm of melted dark chocolate till well combined .that’s it your chocolate mousse is ready.

Cut sponge into 3 layers . On one layer drizzle some water and top with half the chocolate mousse . Put another layer of sponge and repeat . Put final layer of sponge on top and neatly clean the edges to make a perfect round .

Decorate as you like with whipped cream.
Chill for 24 hours and then remove from fridge an hour before cutting.
