Chicken Tikka Biryani

Ok guys this was one of the mosttt requested recipe from u guys and finally here it is 💃. Wash 750 gm of chicken ( i prefer whole chicken cut to pcs or boneles leg) and. In a blender grind together , 1.5 tbsp garlic paste , half tbsp ginger paste , 2 green chillies , little coriander , 1 tsp garam masala powder, juice of 2 limes , 1tbsp kasoori methi , salt , pinch of red colour , 2 tsp red chilli powder, 2 tbsp tandoori masala, blend all this to a fine paste and apply on the chicken along with 250 gm dahi and 2 tsp mustard oil. Let this marinate for few hrs (preferably overnight) and remove all excess marinade and grill the chicken in the oven or simply cook in a vessel on stove. Then heat few pcs of coal and roast the chicken on direct flame above the coals for a few seconds for charred effect.
In a vessel heat oil , add whole garam masala, paste of 1 big onion , and saute well till colour changes , add 1 tbsp ginger paste , 1 tbsp garlic paste , 1 tsp green chilli paste and saute well , add paste of( 2 tbsp kaju, 2 tbsp cream and 3 tomatoes ), salt , 1 tsp red chilli powder , half tsp zeera powder , 1 tsp dhanya powder, half tsp haldi , 1 tsp garam masala powder and salt. Saute well and add the leftover marinade from the chicken and some chopped coriander , saute well till oil comes up and add the chicken pcs and cook for 2-3 mins .it should look like a really thick gravy .

Boil 2 cups of rice with salt and whole garam masala and keep aside.

For layering spread a thin layer of rice and then roughly sprinkle a few pcs of chicken and a few dollop of gravy here and there, some fried potato wedges , then sprinkle some chopped coriander and mint and some barista, spread a thin layer of rice again and follow the same process again and again till all the chicken n rice is over . ( try to create atleast 4 layers) on the top of the rice sprinkle some coriander , mint , barista and some orange food colouring and drizzle 3 tbsp ghee melted . Put on high heat for 10 min and low heat on a tava for half hour . Serve hot with some dahi.
