Chicken Tandoori

Wash 1 kg of chicken and make deep slits and wipe off all the water. In a blender grind together, 1.5 tbsp garlic paste , half tbsp ginger paste , 2 green chillies , little coriander , 1 tsp garam masala powder, juice of 2 limes , 1tbsp kasoori methi , salt , pinch of red colour , 2 tsp red chilli powder, 2 tbsp tandoori masala, blend all this to a fine paste and apply on the chicken along with 4 tbsp hung curd and 2 tsp mustard oil. Let this marinate for few hrs and grill in the oven or simply cook in a vessel on stove. Then heat few pcs of coal and roast the chicken on direct flame above the coals for a few seconds for charred effect. Serve hot with green chutney (you can follow my recipe for green chutney).
