Chicken Pizza Fritta

Pizza fritta is actually fried pizza . And this tastes just tooooo goood.
I’ve made a big batch in the video . Below is recipe for 10-12 frittas

For dough knead together 500 gm Maida , 2 tbsp yeast , 2 tbsp sugar and salt with lukewarm water to soft dough. Lastly apply little oil and knead . Cover and keep for 2 hrs and let it double .

For pizza sauce – mix 1 cup tomato ketchup, 6 tbsp red chilli sauce , 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp oregano. 1 tsp red chilli flakes and mix well and keep aside .

For chicken batter – in a Kadhai take 50 gm butter and let melt add chopperised spices ( Chopperise together 2 spring onion bulbs , 2-3 green chilli, 7-8 cloves of garlic ) sauté and add a handful of chopped spring onion greens , sauté little and add 1 small chopped capsicum , salt and half tsp white pepper powder .saute and add 6 tbsp Maida , sauté till fragrant and add 1.5 cup milk and 1 tsp oregano , 1 tsp red chilli flakes . Cook till thick and add 250 gm of boiled and shredded chicken , and cook till thick . Let cool and keep aside

Take a ball of dough and roll into a thick roti . On half side spread chicken batter and spread pizza sauce on it . Sprinkle lots of mozzarella cheese on top and close to form a semi circle . Press from sides to seal . Shallow fry on medium high heat till golden and crisp . Serve hot.
