Chicken Pide

More like a Lebanese/ Turkish pizza who got a makeover by nazia farhanšŸ¤£ no recipe of mine is complete without my own twist , do try this ur gonna love it
in sha Allah.

For the dough:- mix together 2 cups of maida , 1tbsp sugar,1 tbsp yeast , salt to taste , knead this with lukewarm water to a soft dough and apply some olive oil on top . Cover and keep aside to ferment for 2 hrs (don’t use very hot water or it will kill the yeast and dough will not ferment)

For the chicken , marinate 250 gms of chicken with 2 tbsp tandoori masala (I’ve used my brand tandoori masala @shahi_garam.masala) , 1 tbsp ginger paste , 1 garlic paste , salt and juice of half lime. Cook till done and roughly shread

With some dry flour, roll a ball of dough into a thin oblong shape . Transfer it to a greased oven tray and slightly fold from the sides to give it the shape of a pide ( boat) spread 2 tbsp of mayo in the centre and drizzle some red chilli sauce , spread some chicken and sprinkle a generous amount of mozzarella cheese , also sprinkle some chopped green chillies if u like spicy , brush with egg on the sides. Bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees for 10 mins or till golden. Apply butter on the sides. Remove and cut into pcs , serve hot with some ketchup or garlic mayo. ( simply mix 1 tsp garlic powder and salt in half cup mayo )
This is a very simple and super delicious recipe and im sure ull love it.
