Chicken / Mutton Haryali  Roghan Josh

Roghan josh is mostly  brownish red , but there’s also s green version of it . My recipe is super quick and this turns out to be a delicious  gravy , u can make when sudden guests arrive or ur in hurry. Plz ignore the not so presentable  pics as  I’m mostly in hurry and don’t get time for perfect clicks
In a grinder , blend together  2 handfuls of coriander leaves , 4-5 green chillies , 1 small tomato , 2 roughly  cut onions , 1 cup dahi, 3 tbsp desiccated  coconut  or coconut  milk powder, half tsp haldi  , 1 tsp dhanya powder , half tsp zeera powder , half tsp garam masala  powder , 2 tbsp kaju , 2 tbsp garlic paste , 1 tbsp ginger paste and juice of 1 lime . Blend everything well to a fine paste .
In a kadhai ( or pressure  cooker if making mutton) heat oil, add some curry leaves , and whole garam  masala , saute and add the prepared paste , salt and cook well , add 750 gms of chicken/ mutton and cook well till done . Serve hot with naan or paratha.
