Chicken Makhni Roll / Chicken Tikka Roll

For the chicken tikka .. . In a blender grind together , 1.5 tbsp garlic paste , half tbsp ginger paste , 2 green chillies , little coriander , 1 tsp garam masala powder, juice of 2 limes , 1tbsp kasoori methi , salt , pinch of red colour , 2 tsp red chilli powder blend all this to a fine paste and apply on 1kg chicken along with 4 tbsp hung curd and 2 tsp mustard oil. Let this marinate for few hrs and  grill in the oven or simply cook in a vessel on stove.(If making tikka roll grill along with the Marinade … If making makhni roll Then remove the excess marinate and Then grill ) Then heat few pcs of coal and roast the chicken on direct flame above the coals for a few seconds for charred effect.
For the makhni sauce . .. cook the leftover marinade with little water till raw smell goes . Then cool and mix in 6 tbsp green chutney , 4 tbsp cream ,1 tbsp melted butter , 3 tbsp mayo and salt to taste .

USE BASIC GREEN CHUTNEY ONLY IF MAKING TIKKA ROLL.
For the onion …. slice 2 onions finely and mix in juice of half lime , salt , 2 pinch pepper powder and little chopped coriander. Mix well and keep aside.

For assembling… take regular wheat chapati and in a line place the chicken tikka followed by the onion and then your choice of sauce ( makhni sauce to make makhni roll …. or green chutney to make tikka roll) roll and serve hot šŸ˜‹
