Chicken Jalfrezi Gravy

This is a must try recipe  if u like tomato based gravies . Its a family  fave along with paratha.  And tastes yummm with rice as well .

Marinate 500 gms boneless  chicken  cubes ( leg or breast any is fine)  with 2 tbsp garlic  paste  , half tbsp ginger paste , 2 tsp red chilli powder  , half tsp haldi powder , 1 tsp garam masala powder,  1 tsp zeera powder, half tsp black pepper powder , 2 tsp dhanya powder and salt  . Let marinate  for atleast  an hour .

In a vessel  heat oil , add the marinated  chicken  and cook till almost  done . Add paste of 6 tomatoes ( use 4 if u want light gravy,  2 if u want it  dry as a starter) cook for 5-7 mins .

In a pan heat oil  and saute 4-5 slit green chillies,  1 diced capsicum  and 1 diced onion . Just saute for a few seconds  and add half cup ketchup  and 2 tbsp red chilli  sauce.  Cook till it boils and pour over the chicken  gravy and cook for 2-3 mins .
Serve hot.
