Chicken Handi

A very easy but delicious gravy that you all will love.
Marinate 1 kg chicken with salt , 1 tsp black pepper powder, half tsp haldi powder ,1tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp zeera powder, 1 tsp Dhanya powder, 1 cup dahi and juice of 1 lime . Mix well and let marinate for atleast half hour .

In a vessel heat some oil and fry 4 sliced onions till golden and remove . In the remaining oil put whole garam masala, 2.5 tbsp garlic paste, 1.5 tbsp ginger paste and sauté .
Meanwhile blend together 3 medium tomatoes, few curry leaves, a handful of coriander leaves, 4-5 Kashmiri red chilli, 5-6 green chilli, the fried onion we prepared, and little salt . blend together to a fine paste and add it to the vessel . Sauté well till fragrant and then add the marinated chicken and cook well on high heat. Then cover and cook till chicken is tender . Lastly add 2tbsp cream or malai and some chopped coriander and serve hot with choice of roti , naan or rice.
