Chicken Chilli Biryani

Hey guys this has been one of the most requested recipes this lockdown . So heres my version of it , im sure this is going to be your new favorite biryani.

Marinate 500-750gm of chicken ( i have used with bone , u can also use boneless) with 2 tbsp garlic paste , 1 tbsp ginger paste , 6 tbsp tomato ketchup , paste of 2 tomatoes, 4 tbsp soya sauce, 5 tbsp dahi , 3 tbsp red chilli sauce , 3 tbsp green chilli sauce , 1 tbsp vinager , salt , 1 tsp white pepper powder , 2 tsp red chilli powder . And let Marinate for 1 hour . In a kadhai heat oil , add 5-6 slit green chillies , and then add the marinated chicken and cook till done , add very little sliced cabbage , julienned capsicum and julienned carrots, add a few spring onion bulbs diced , and cook for 2 mins . Switch off heat and mix in a handful of chopped spring onion green.
For the rice u can also make fried rice and layer it , i have made basic biryani rice by boiling 2 cups of soaked basmati rice with salt and whole garam masala.
Take a big vessel and spread a thin layer of boiled rice followed by the gravy , again a thin layer of boiled rice , spread a layer of fried potato wedges , and boiled egg . Spread the remaining rice , and drizzle yellow , red and green colour dissolved in water , some chopped coriander and a few dollops of ghee . Keep on tava and cook on high heat for 10 mins and low heat for half hour. Mix the plain rice layer to create a beautiful coloured rice . Serve hot.
