Chicken Cheese Zaatar Naan
This is just tooooooooooooo good.
Firstly marinate 250 gm chicken cubes with salt , half tsp oregano, 1 tsp garlic powder, half tsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp red chilli flakes and 1 tbsp red chilli sauce . Cook till done . Shred and keep aside
For molten cheese – in a bowl put 250 gm grated processed cheese, 1/4th cup milk ,2 tbsp butter and melt it in microwave for a minute or melt with double boiler method . Then blend it with hand blender or in grinder and. Use ( if u don’t want to take all these efforts, simply use 350 gm of veebas white cheese dressing)
To this cheese put the shredded chicken, 3-4 chopped green chilli and some chopped coriander . Mix well and keep in fridge for half hour to make it easy to handle .
For dough – mix together 2.5 cup Maida , 1.5 tbsp sugar , 1.5 tbsp instant dry yeast and mix well . Knead with lukewarm water to a soft dough. Lastly apply little oil and cover and keep aside for 2 hours or till it doubles in size.
In a bowl mix 5-6tbsp olive oil and 1.5 tbsp zaatar powder . ( you can buy readymade or make it using my recipe from my website) mix well and keep aside.
To make naan – take a ball of dough and roll into a small thick roti with help of dry Maida . Put stuffing in the centre and close from sides . Press with light hands to make a fat naan . Apply some water on the top and put the watered side on hot tava . Cook on low heat for a minute and then increase the heat to high and turn the tava to cook it on direct flame till golden.
Remove and apply some zaatar oil . Cut into strips and serve hot with hummus ( recipe can be easily found on my website)
