Chicken Canapes
This is inspired by my mother in laws recipe a fave at home and a must have in Ramadan and in daawats. Easy to prepare , u can also freeze the filling in a container and remove it and let defrost and heat , make canapes when needed. The above pic does not look exactly like my recipe but it’s for a reference to show u what kind of canapes to use .
For the filing … in a kadhai heat 4 tbsp oil add 1 tsp ginger paste , 2 tsp garlic paste , and saute , add 250 gm chopped boneless chicken and cover and cook for 2 min , add 3 onions chopped and cover and cook for 2 min , add 2 capsicum chopped and cover and cook for 2 min , add 3 chopped tomatoes and cover and cook for 2 min , all veg will turn soft , now add salt , 6 tbsp ketchup , 2 tbsp red chilli sauce 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce , 1 tsp chilli flakes , 3 green chillies chopped , some chopped coriander and some grated cheese . Mix well and let cool .
Fry the canapes Nd top it with a spoon of filling then some grated cheese and chopped coriander. Serve immediately . U can also make the same on Monaco biscuits instead of fried canapes.
